Pearson Higher National Certificate (Level 4)

Course Content

You will learn enhanced skills and knowledge to build on your learning at level 3. The content provides an insight into a range of specialist areas such as Sports Marketing, Coaching, Leadership and Health. This is combined with a range of experience from coaching Fowler Academy Junior Squads to refereeing and analysis. Example units that you will cover include:

Coaching Practice and Skill Development
Technology in Sport
The Sport Landscape
Activity Leadership

Assessment

Assessment methods are varied however follow the typical University guidelines, practical elements are included as much as possible. Assessments include:

Reports
Portfolios
Practical Delivery
Presentations
Consultations

Entry requirements

You must have a BTEC at MPP or above or the equivalent at A-Level. It is desirable that both math and English is at a grade 4 or above however consideration will be given if only one of these is achieved.
